Best Small Towns To Live In

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend, and we are all muddling through now that real life has begun again. For the Stein household, that means the first day of school for both Abby and Samuel.  I can’t wait to hear reports later on about new teachers, new routines and new classmates all wrapped into one.

Over the weekend, I happened to come across an article on CNNMoney.com, listing the 100 Best Small Towns to Live In right here in these United States of ours.  It should come as no surprise that three of those towns are right here in Montgomery County!  An even greater testament to our area is that there were only two other towns listed in the Top 100 throughout the rest of Pennsylvania (and only one wasn’t in the general Philadelphia area).

#31 – Horsham, Pa

One of the area’s oldest communities, Horsham is a short commute into the bustle of Philadelphia and home of award winning schools in the Hatboro-Horsham School District.  And a cool library (left).

#45 – Ardmore, Pa

Known for its historic downtown and shopping district, this Main Line enclave is just minutes away from the city, but miles away worry.

#59 – West Norriton, Pa

With median home prices just over $200,000, this historic corner of Montgomery County – the Battle of Valley Forge was fought just minutes away – is one of the most affordable in the area, and the low property crime rate is a nice added bonus.

You can check out the full list here, and even talk up your town.  Besides all that, you can search for homes in these towns or anywhere else in Montgomery County and the surrounding areas at joshuastein.lnf.com!  Until next time…
